Digital Download Policies

Digital Product Purchase, Refund & License Policy

This policy applies to digital educational products sold by Divine Detail, including the Professional Overspray Removal Handbook, Complete Overspray Removal Professional Kit, Professional Overspray Removal Business Kit, and related downloadable materials.

Digital Product Delivery

All products covered by this policy are digital products. No physical product will be shipped.

After successful payment, the purchaser will receive access to the applicable digital files through the download system provided at checkout and/or by email.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address, downloading their purchased files, and maintaining their own backup copies.

If you experience a legitimate problem accessing or downloading your purchase, contact Divine Detail so we can verify the order and assist with delivery.

Refund Policy

Because these products contain downloadable digital intellectual property that cannot be returned once access has been provided, digital product sales are generally final once the purchased files have been made available for download.

Refunds are not normally provided because a purchaser:

Changes their mind after purchasing;
Decides they no longer need the product;
Fails to read the product description or system requirements before purchasing;
Lacks the software, equipment, experience, or professional skills necessary to use the materials;
Expected content, features, services, or results that were not represented in the product description; or
Does not achieve a particular technical, business, financial, or repair result.

However, Divine Detail will review legitimate purchase problems, including:

Duplicate charges for the same purchase;
Receipt of the wrong digital product;
A purchased file that is corrupted or cannot reasonably be accessed after troubleshooting;
Failure to receive access to the purchased digital product; or
A material discrepancy between the product delivered and the product described at the time of purchase.

When appropriate, Divine Detail may first attempt to resolve the issue by providing technical assistance, replacing a file, resending download access, or providing the correct product.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any non-waivable rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Educational and Professional-Use Disclaimer

The Professional Overspray Removal System and related materials are provided for professional educational and informational purposes.

Automotive contamination, paint systems, vehicle surfaces, previous repairs, coatings, films, products, chemicals, tools, environmental conditions, and technician skill levels vary.

Purchasers and users remain responsible for evaluating each vehicle and determining whether a particular procedure, product, tool, chemical, or repair process is appropriate.

Users are responsible for following applicable:

Product manufacturer instructions;
Safety Data Sheets;
PPE requirements;
Ventilation requirements;
Vehicle and surface manufacturer guidance;
Professional training requirements; and
Local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

The materials do not guarantee complete contamination removal, successful restoration, a particular repair outcome, insurer approval, manufacturer approval, warranty coverage, selling price, gross margin, profitability, or business results.

Pricing Calculator Disclaimer

The Overspray Pricing Calculator included with the Professional Overspray Removal Business Kit is an estimating and business-planning tool.

Default rates, costs, margins, contingencies, labor assumptions, formulas, and other inputs are provided as a starting framework and should be reviewed and configured for the purchaser's own business.

The calculator does not establish a required market price and does not guarantee job cost, labor time, selling price, gross profit, gross margin, profitability, or customer acceptance of an estimate.

The purchaser remains responsible for determining appropriate pricing for their own business and market.

License to Use the Materials

Purchase grants the purchasing individual or business a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased materials for its own professional and internal business purposes.

The purchasing business may use the materials internally with its employees and technicians while those individuals are performing work for that purchasing business.

This license does not transfer ownership of the copyrighted materials or intellectual property.

Permitted Use

Subject to this policy, the purchaser may:

Read and reference the purchased training materials;
Store reasonable working and backup copies for the purchaser's own use;
Print reasonable copies of worksheets, forms, job sheets, checklists, and reference materials for use within the purchasing business;
Use the included forms and tools while performing work for the purchasing business's customers; and
Allow employees or technicians of the purchasing business to use the materials internally for work performed on behalf of that business.

Prohibited Use

Unless Divine Detail provides prior written permission, purchasers and users may not:

Resell the materials;
Redistribute the digital files;
Share the materials with another business or independent operator;
Publicly upload or post the materials;
Republish substantial portions of the materials online;
Repackage the materials as another product;
Sell or distribute copies of the forms, guides, worksheets, graphics, or calculator;
Use the materials to create a substantially copied competing handbook, training product, template package, course, or digital product;
Remove copyright, ownership, or attribution notices for purposes of redistribution; or
Provide copies to another person or business as a substitute for that person or business purchasing its own licensed copy.

Independent contractors and separate businesses are not automatically covered merely because they occasionally perform work for the purchaser.

Intellectual Property

The Professional Overspray Removal Handbook, Inspection & Pricing Workbook, Technician Job Pack, Quick Reference Guide, START HERE Guide, Overspray Pricing Calculator, associated graphics, written content, forms, systems, and other original materials are protected intellectual property owned by David Terral / Divine Detail except where third-party rights are otherwise identified.

Purchase provides a license to use the materials as described in this policy. It does not transfer copyright or ownership.

Unauthorized Distribution

Divine Detail reserves the right to take reasonable action to protect its intellectual property when materials are copied, resold, redistributed, publicly uploaded, repackaged, or otherwise used outside the license granted with purchase.

Updates and Future Versions

Purchase provides access to the version of the product identified at the time of sale unless the product description expressly states that future versions or updates are included.

Future editions, major revisions, additional products, video training, consulting, or other resources are not automatically included with a prior purchase unless specifically stated.

If you have a problem with a digital purchase, please contact Divine Detail and provide your name, email address used for the purchase, order information, and a description of the problem.

We will make reasonable efforts to verify the purchase and resolve legitimate delivery or file-access issues.
